How long have you been working with dlivrd?
I started August 2022!
What does your journey into the gig economy/dlivrd look like?
I’ve been part of the food and catering industry for 20 years! A lot of my experience is in serving large gatherings. More recently I was involved with Tacodeli’s catering and delivery services back in 2018. I love doing “behind-the-scenes” type deliveries and meeting new people all over my city! Completing these orders makes me feel like I’m part of the Austin food community as well as a part of the dlivrd driver community. Being part of dlivrd’s Emerald Elite is exciting! I really like how they recognize those on the platform who have gone above and beyond, and give other drivers something to strive for!
As there are so many dedicated drivers, being drawn to win the Apple Watch giveaway was surprising and exciting! I was curious about insurance offerings, so I filled out Lockton’s webform!
What advice would you give to new earning partners?
Communication is key! This is especially true not only with the clients you complete deliveries for but the dlivrd support team as well. The live team is always on standby to help and answer any questions you might have.
Do you have a favorite dish from a restaurant you’ve completed a catering delivery for?
Delivering for restaurants has inspired me to try a few new spots, specifically Bao’d Up Noodlehaus!

I play the drums in a punk band called “The Reeks”!
