How can we help you today?
Being On-Time 💰
Early 🚫 – Any time food arrives at the delivery location more than 10 minutes ahead of schedule
- In most earning situations, being early is a good thing but not when hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of dollars worth of hot or cold food is involved
- Picking up and delivering food too early can cause a ripple effect where food is left sitting for too long before consuming and can cause food borne illness to the consumer
- Customers order food with specific consumption times in mind; oftentimes the’ve planned business meetings around the consumption time and early delivery can throw that off
- You can control whether you deliver too early on 99% of occasions by not asking the restaurant about your order until you are within the 10 minutes of the pickup time
- Customers are highly likely to file complaints when food arrives early and this can lead to refunds being issued by the restaurant
- Since you are the delivery business responsible for the early delivery, there may be a negative impact to your earnings
- Some customers may decide to ensure that you are not contracted to deliver food to their location in the future and when this happens, we may not be able to continue our partnership or it can limit the earning opportunities for which you are eligible
Late 🚫 – Any time food arrives at the delivery location more than 10 minutes behind schedule
- In all earning situations, being late is not a good thing and it is especially the case when large orders of hot or cold food are involved.
- Arriving at the restaurant after your agreed-to pickup time can be frustrating for the restaurant that has worked hard on preparing a delicious spread while creating a sense of mistrust
- If you are going to be late, it is always best to let us know ASAP by texting or calling 1-844-515-2932
- In extreme situations, the restaurant may request that another earning partner complete the delivery to avoid costly refunds and when this happens we will cancel your earning opportunity
- Completing the delivery late throws off the customer’s timeline, creates mistrust on their part and can lead to the same food safety concerns as early delivery
- Most of the time, you are in control of whether the food will be delivered too late by arriving at the pickup location and asking the restaurant about your order at the agreed-to pickup time
- Part of the reason we offer deliveries one day in advance is so that you can prepare for your day to ensure you leave for the pickup at whatever time is needed to make sure you are on-time
- Customers are highly likely to file complaints when food arrives late and this can lead to refunds being issued by the restaurant
- Since you are the delivery business responsible for the late delivery, there may be a negative impact to your earnings
- Some restaurants may decide to request you not deliver on their behalf in the future and when this happens, we may not be able to continue our partnership or it can limit the earning opportunities for which you are eligible
- Informing us will help keep the restaurant and customer know what’s happening and can help to avoid or reduce refunds, complaints and frustration all around
We’ve already stressed the importance of being right on-time. You probably realize that this will, at times, mean you will have to wait for the restaurant to be ready. We understand that this can be frustrating. For that reason, we will compensate you for waiting. Learn more about wait time compensation here.
