Meet Charlie East Coast Rockstar and dlivrd May’s Difference Maker.
If grilling were an Olympic sport, I’d definitely be a gold medalist. But that’s not the only place where I bring home the gold. As the Driver Experience Ambassador for New York, Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, and DC, I’m all about delivering excellence and making a difference.
Collaboration and empathy are key for me. My role involves a lot of direct interaction with drivers, educating them on company policies, and fostering their success. I’m also on the move, traveling to events across the country to meet our drivers in person, answer their questions, and build connections. It’s all part of our hands-on approach to ensuring our team performs at its best.
I also work closely with our team in Colombia to ensure I’m always providing drivers with accurate information. Plus, I contribute to marketing projects, helping to keep our brand interactive and vibrant.
Coolest part of my job? Hearing from a driver partner that my help is really making a difference. At dlivrd, we focus on our people. Our drivers are great professionals with high standards, but they’re also human. Every day, I have in-depth conversations with our drivers, holding them accountable while also understanding their challenges. This sets us apart from other gig platforms. We’re not just about getting the job done; we’re about creating a supportive and engaged community.
One thing I love about dlivrd is the opportunity it gives me to volunteer in my local community. I’ve had the chance to help out at the Lutheran Settlement House, a food pantry and women’s shelter, which has been incredibly rewarding.
When I’m not busy making a difference at dlivrd, you might find me jamming out as the singer in a rock new wave band. Music is one of my passions, and it’s always exciting to bring those same vibes here.
